How much is a 3 Plate at Panda Express

How Much is a 3 Plate at Panda Express? Prices Revealed!

Panda Express is one of the most recognizable Chinese food brands in the US, but how much do you really know about this popular restaurant chain? If you’re thinking about stopping by your local Panda Express, you may be wondering how much a typical meal costs.

But with so many different choices, it can be hard to know exactly what you should order and what you should skip in order to make sure you get the best bang for your buck! Here are all the details on exactly how much money you’ll spend on your favorite dishes at Panda Express!

China Bowl – $7.99

That’s right, you can get three plates of food for under $8 bucks. The China Bowl has plenty of variety including steamed white rice, your choice of entree (think Sweet Fire Chicken and Mandarin Orange Chicken), and then a side dish of egg rolls or crab Rangoon.

It’s just under $2 per plate if you buy just one, but that means you don’t get to choose one of their other plates—like Chow Mein or Kung Pao Chicken.

So maybe buy two instead… after all, it’s only around $3.50-3.75 total, meaning each plate will run you about $1.25-1.50 when split between two people.

Fried Rice – $4.25

Fried rice is one of my favorite Chinese foods, but I do realize that it’s not for everyone. It’s simple to make, but definitely not low-calorie, either. And for $4.25 you get what you pay for: Ingredients include chicken breast, egg whites, and scallions.

Other ingredients such as green beans or peas will drive up costs. Regardless of what you put in your fried rice, it’s still fried and high in fat—so don’t overdo it!

A healthier way to eat fried rice (and get plenty of vegetables) is to use brown rice instead of white or by adding additional veggies—notably broccoli or baby corn—to your meal when you visit Panda Express.

Pork Fried Rice – $5.45

By far, our favorite item on their menu. It’s not too spicy and not too salty. The pork fried rice dish contains egg rolls, shredded carrots, onions, and scallions; we’d opt for soy sauce to make it even tastier.

You can get three of these plates for $12.75 or if you want to try another flavor, there are options like beef, chicken, or shrimp. Note: The entree comes with two portions of rice but if you want extra rice for only $0.50 for each portion!

You can also add other side dishes such as a spring roll or an egg roll for $1.00 per order. To wash down your meal, there are many drinks that will quench your thirst including sodas, iced tea, and bottled water which range from $1-$2 each.
